  • Traditional Render & Set, using Thistle Hardwall as base coat to all internal walls, plaster skim to all ceilings including working at height amongst timber beams in the auditorium areas. Externally, we rendered all the new block-work with Weber Pral one coat render system, machine applied with a scraped finish.

Description

  • First coat included dubbing out of stonework, plus 2 no scratch-coats with a top coat smooth-face finish with ashlar cuts in a large block design. Decorative bands were formed through the centre of the building. Materials used: Parex Parlumiere lime render, a very rarely used lime render in the UK, but very nice fish when complete.
